The Grand Apartment • Silo Complex

Enjoyable weekend in Raglan Positive: Loved the location right on the water and it was lovely and quiet the weekend we were there. The views were amazing and the sun poured in all the windows. The apartment was lovely and spacious and had a great vibe, with books to read and a pool table to play on. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy it all. It had lovely glasses, dinnerware and cutlery and a good range of serving ware and cooking gear to enjoy a meal in. The shower pressure was amazing and it had pretty much all you needed for a lovely stay. Negative: The heating could be improved with a heat pump. 3 small radiant heaters situated above the curtains weren't adequate and were a bit of a fire hazard. We couldn't get the TV to work (it wasn't a smart one so we couldn't cast off our phones for sky, TVNZ apps etc), though there was a netflix button and a bluetooth speaker. We ended up watching the sporting games on our phone. The bathrooms could do with a little TLC re regrouting and the floor did get a little wet from the shower splashes after a shower but otherwise a superb place with great communication from the agents looking after the property.

Positive: Views amazing and really comfortable, such a unique place to stay. Negative: If I had to say something, just the main bathroom grout, could do with really good scrub. Other than that fabulous.
