Excellent accommodation for a family celebration. Negative: Gas cylinder for bbq - 2 empty cyclinders by BBQ. On contacted Groundswell we were told they would sort out the following day, which was too late. A full cylinder was found tucked away around the back of house upon leaving the accommodation. Bottom dish draw was very hard to open & when we did it was very fatty.

Loved the property and the view was amazing. Really worked well for our group of 12.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Hillside Haven, 8 adults, two teenagers and 2 children - ages ranged from 76 to 3 years!!. There was a perfect choice of bedrooms for adults and bunk rooms for the younger ones. The rumpus room with pool table and large TV was a hit, as was the spa and another TV upstairs , and a fantastic well equipped kitchen. Great views. Roomy, tastefully decorated and spacious. The driveway is steep!! and was tricky with loaded up cars in the rain, but we managed. Plenty of room for parking 4 cars. A nice walk down to the local beach and a walk around to the next bay at low tide, and a short drive to Raglan village. Can thoroughly recommend.
